I was running a successful digital marketing business before I got sick with multiple autoimmune diseases. Before fatigue knocked me to the ground. Before the pain was a gnawing distraction. Before my brain felt my runny scrambled eggs.
I had to learn how to pivot my career while still being able to pay my bills, rest when I needed to, and still feel passionate about the work I do. Like most life lessons, I learned from mistakes while trying to build a career that worked for me. I was afraid to set boundaries. I hesitated to charge my worth. I often doubted whether I should have accepted my latest client. But eventually, I found solid footing.
In my new book, Chronically Ill, Wildly Capable: How to Build a Flexible Career, Protect Your Energy, and Create Sustainable Success, I share how I did it, along with stories from several other chronic illness warriors who built flexible, sustainable careers as well. I’m thrilled to announce that the book is due out in March. I’ll reveal the book cover in February and give a free sneak peek. So stay tuned by following me on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok.
Until then, please enjoy the back cover blurb below!
